Scotts Miracle-Gro Co (NYSE:SMG. has acquired two IoT water-management companies for its Connected Yard platform.
Scotts bought Illinois based Oso Technologies the makers of PlantLink , a soil sensors and a water management valve system, and Irvine based Blossom, a smart irrigation controller provider initially Kickstarted in 2014.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
