BWC 3.0 is an enhanced version of Banyan’s existing solution called ‘Irrigation Insight’. Though originally designed for large properties only, the newly released version also helps smaller properties to reduce irrigation water use.

How does it work?

BWC 3.0 utilizes a property’s existing irrigation system by installing smart controllers, flow monitoring devices, and weather tracking technology on it. The Banyan software triangulates the data (water saving goals, watering schedules, and weather patterns) and helps provide the optimal amount of water use.

The solution also detects water leakage and alerts customers about the situation. It can be used to remotely shut off the irrigation system.

Banyan Water’s key use cases include tracking and analyzing water usage, real-time leak detection, and indoor water tracking, and optimizing cooling-tower’s water usage. It’s customers mainly belong to retail and hospitality, multifamily and student housing, Fortune 500 firms and commercial real estate properties.
