Hardware as a service firm Proxy has raised $1.6M from Y Combinator and Blackbird Ventures to target offices and apartment access management.
The service uses Bluetooth Low Energy IDs and a one-time token from your phone with sensors they install as part of a subscription to the service. Once activated management can grant and revoke access from the cloud, and users can get hands free access to their home or office.
