Last year AAEON (the industrial embedded arm of Asus) introduced an Intel Atom X5 based development board named “UP Board” that sold 12,000 of the units in part via a successful Kickstarter campaign.
The company is back with Up Squared — a more powerful x86 Apollo Lake board aimed to bridge the gap between makers and industrial applications.
Powered by either a dual core Celeron N3350 or a quad core Pentium N4200 processor, it drives a 40 Pin I/O connector, multiple USB 3.0 ports, and double Gigabit Ethernet.
It is compatibility with Linux, Android, and all Windows 10 distributions.
